BIOGRAPHY

Andrea Larson has served for over 19 years on the faculty of the University of Virginia’s Darden Graduate School of Business Administration. She teaches in the MBA program and in Executive Education in the areas of entrepreneurship, innovation, and sustainable (economically/ecologically/socially sustainable) business. Building upon prior research on alliances and network organizations, her teaching, research and writing is focused on firms pursuing innovative products, technologies, processes, strategies and organizational designs. Of particular interest are companies committed to sustainable business as a strategic and market advantage. Her publications have appeared in journals including Administrative Science Quarterly, The Journal of Business Venturing, Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, and Interfaces (special issue on sustainable business practices). She holds a joint doctorate from Harvard University, awarded by the Harvard Business School and the Harvard Graduate School of Arts and Science.
