  • "The Role of Securitization in Bank Liquidity and Funding Management," 2011, the Journal of Financial Economics Vol. 100, pp. 663-684.

    ▫  An earlier version of this paper was distributed under the title “Does Securitization   Affect Bank Lending? Evidence from Bank Responses to Funding Shocks.”

    ▫  The paper utilized the loan liquidity index  that captures the depth of the securitization market for six categories of loans and spans from 1976 to 2008. I hope you find the index useful in your research.
